Do you have students constantly ask "What are we doing today?" Or, do they lose focus during work time? I am sure most of you answered 'No" because you are awesome at your job, but if you are like me and find yourself repeating this for each student walking in or having to remind them frequently, then today's tip is for you! Today's Tip - Use GoGuardian to open tabs automatically! If you are not currently using this feature in GoGuardian, you might consider it. For instance, I use a doc/slide with daily objectives (see below - notice it is in preview only mode, which I covered yesterday). However, you can have GoGuardian automatically open any link you want, whether it be Classroom or a specific assignment or tool you are using that day.  Objectives Doc I started opening tabs automatically for my students last year to help them focus on what we are doing that day.  Some things stay on the list for a few days, weeks, or an entire unit. When you share a doc with others, you don't have to give them the exact URL. Instead, you can manipulate the address by changing the end. * Note : item must be public for this to work.  Here are three examples and ways to do each, as well as an example for how I am using today. Preview Mode  (gets rid of the toolbar at the top so others can't make a copy, it also gets rid of showing who all is on it - Great for parents or info you don't want others duplicating) Make a Copy Mode  (forces person to make a copy to view - may not want Classroom doing, see how I am using below) Template Mode  (forces person to use the template, see blue button at top right, also eliminates all the "copy of" mess) For making a preview of it ....
